The Asian Champions League for the 2023-24 is the 42nd edition of Asia’s most prestigious club football tournament.

Asian Champions League 2023-2024 Stadiums
The Bunyodkor Stadium is located in the city of Tashkent and was built in 2012 with a capacity of 34,000. It will be the home of Pakhtakor for the Champions League matches. The club has reached the semi-finals of the competition twice.
The Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It opened in 1972 and can hold 22,500 people. It is home of Al Hilal which is the most successful club in the competition with 4 titles. The stadium will also be used by Al Fayha for their 1st appearance in the Asian Champions League.
The Ashgabat Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Turkmenistan. The stadium holds 20,000 people and was built in 2011. It is the home of Ahal who will play in their second Asian Champions League.
The Hazza bin Zayed Stadium is located in Abu Dhabi. The stadium holds 22,717 spectators and opened in 2014. It is the home stadium of Al Ain FC which is the only team in the United Arab Emirates to have won an Asian Champions League title.
The Jassim bin Hamad Stadium opened in 1975 and has a capacity of 13,000. The stadium is the home to Al Sadd which is the only team in Qatar that has won the Asian Champions League.
The Nasaf Stadium opened in 2006 with a capacity of 21,000 and serves as the home to Nasaf. The Uzbekistan Cup winners will participate in their 8th tournament.
The Amman International Stadium is the largest stadium in Jordan with a capacity of 17,600 spectators. It serves as the home to Al-Faisaly SC. The club will participate in the group stage of the Asian Champions League for the first time in its history.
The Sharjah Stadium has a capacity of 18,000 and serves as the home ground of Sharjah FC. The United Arab Emirates Cup winners will play in their 6th Asian Champions League.
One of the biggest stadiums in Asia with a capacity of 62,300 is the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It serves as the home to the two-time Asian Champions Al-Ittihad.
The Naghsh-e Jahan Stadium was opened in 2003 in Iran with a capacity of 75,000. It is the home of the 2007 Asian Champions League finalists, Sepahan SC.
The OKMK Sports Complex has a capacity of 12,000 and is the home of the AGMK FC from Uzbekistan. The club will play in their 4th Asian Champions League.
The Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex is located in Pune, India. It opened in 1994 with a capacity of 12,000 and it will used by Mumbai City FC for their second appearance in the Asian Champions League.
The biggest venue in Iran with a capacity of 78,000 is the Azadi Stadium in Tehran. It serves as the home to the two-time Asian Champions League finalists, Persepolis FC. The stadium will also be used by F.C. Nassaji Mazandaran for their 1st appearance in the competition.
The Markaziy Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Namangan, Uzbekistan. The stadium holds 22,000 people and opened in 1956. It is the home stadium of Navbahor their 1st appearance in the competition.
The Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium is located in Doha, Qatar and opened in 2013 with a capacity of 10,000. It is the home of Al Duhail whose best performance is reaching the quarterfinals once in 12 appearances in the Asian Champions League.
The Central Tajikistan Stadium opened in 1946 and can hold 20,000 people. It is the home of Istiklol who have reached the round of 16 once in 5 appearances in the competition.
The Al-Awwal Park is a football stadium located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It opened in 2015 and has a capacity of 25,000. It is the home to the Cristiano Ronaldo club Al Nassr who were the 1995 Asian Champions League finalists.
The Franso Hariri Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Erbil, Iraq. It opened in 1956 and has a capacity of 25,000. It will be used as the home to Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya for their 7th appearance in the Asian Champions League.
The Jeonju World Cup Stadium was built just before the 2002 World Cup where it hosted 3 games. The stadium’s capacity is 42,500 and the final of the 2011 AFC Champions League was held at this stadium. It is the home of Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors who have won the tournament two times.
The Jalan Besar Stadium opened in 1929 and is located in Kallang, Singapore. It will be used this year by Lion City Sailors for their 4th appearance in the Asian Champions League.
The Hong Kong Stadium is the main sports venue of Hong Kong. It opened in 1953 and it can hold 40,000 people. It will be used by Kitchee SC for their home games in their 8th appearance in the Asian Champions League.
The Thammasat Stadium opened in Thailand in 1998 and has a capacity of 25,000. It is the home of Bangkok United. This will be their 4th appearance in the Asian Champions League.
The second biggest stadium in Japan with a capacity of 72,000 is the Yokohama International Stadium. The stadium is known for hosting the 2002 World cup Final. It is now used as the stadium of Yokohama Marinos. The club has finished second once in 6 appearances in the competition.
The Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Manila will be the venue for the home games of the Filipino champions Kaya FC. It opened in 1934 and has a capacity of 13,000.
The Incheon Football Stadium was built in 2012 with a capacity of 21,000 and since then it has been the home stadium of Incheon United. The club will play in the Asian Champions League for the first time in its history.
The Jinan Olympic Sports Center Stadium opened in 2009 and has a capacity of 56,800. It is the home of Shandong Taishan who will play in their 11th Asian champions League tournament.
The Melbourne Rectangular Stadium was opened in 2010 and has a capacity of 30,000. It serves as the home to Melbourne City FC. The club qualified for its inaugural AFC Champions League appearance in 2022 and this will be their second appearance.
The Buriram Stadium is a 32,600-seat football stadium opened in 2011. It is the home of Buriram United. The Thailand champions have played in 11 editions of the Asian Champions League, reaching the quarter-finals once.
The Japan National Stadium opened in 2019 in order to serve as the main venue for the 2020 Summer Olympics. This year it will be used by Ventforet Kofu for their Champions League home games. After winning the Japanese Cup, Kofu will become the first Japanese team to compete in the Asian Champions League while playing in the domestic second division.
The Huzhou Olympic Sports Center was built in 2017 with a capacity of 40,000. It serves as the home to Zhejiang FC. This will be their second appearance in the Asian Champions League.
The Ulsan Munsu Football Stadium was built just before the 2002 World Cup in South Korea, where it hosted 3 games. It has a capacity of 44,700 and serves as the home to Ulsan Hyundai FC. The club has won the Asian Champions League twice, in 2012 and 2020.
The Kawasaki Todoroki Stadium was opened in 1962 and can hold 26,000 people. It serves as the home to Kawasaki Frontale who will play in their 11th Asian champions League.
The Sultan Ibrahim Stadium opened in 2020 in Malaysia and has a capacity of 40,000. It is the home of Johor FC. The club has 9 appearances in the Asian Champions League.
The BG Stadium is a three-sided football stadium in Thailand, holding 10,114 spectators. It opened in 2010 and is the home to Pathum United. The club has 4 appearances in the Asian Champions League and in the last season they reached the quarterfinals.
The Wuhan Sports Centre Stadium opened in 2002 with a capacity of 54,000. It serves as the home to the Chinese champions Wuhan Three Towns FC who will play in the competition for the 1st time in their history.

The Pohang Steel Yard holds 17,443 spectators and was built in 1990 as the first football-specific stadium in South Korea. It is the home stadium of the Pohang Steelers. The club has won the title 3 times.
The largest football-specific stadium in Japan with a capacity of 63,700 is Saitama Stadium. It opened just before the 2002 World Cup where it hosted one of the semifinals. It is the home of the current Asian champions Urawa Red Diamonds. The club has won the title another two times.
