The 9th edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup is set to take place in 2023 in Australia and New Zealand.

2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup Stadiums
The second largest stadium in Australia with 82,500 seats is the Stadium Australia, also known as the Sydney Olympic Stadium. It was completed in 1999 to host the 2000 Summer Olympics. The stadium is mostly used for rugby matches. When it comes to football it hosts some important games of the Australian national team. It will also host the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup Final.
The Sydney Football Stadium is a brand new venue as it opened in August 2022. It has a capacity of 42,500 and it is used as the home ground to Sydney FC of the A-League.
The Lang Park is located in Brisbane, Australia and it was first opened in 1914. After several expansions, it can now hold 52,500 people. It is mainly used for rugby games and when it comes to football it hosts some of the home games of Brisbane Roar.
The Melbourne Rectangular Stadium was opened in 2010 with a capacity of 30,000. Since its opening, the stadium is home to Melbourne Victory FC and Melbourne City FC of the Australian A League. Western United FC also uses the stadium for some of their home games.
The Perth Rectangular Stadium is one of the oldest stadiums in Australia as it was opened in 1910. It now has a capacity of 20,500. The stadium is home to Perth Glory FC since their inception in 1995.
The Hindmarsh Stadium is located in Adelaide, Australia. It is the home of the Australian A-League team, Adelaide United. The stadium has a capacity of 16,500 and was built in 1960.
The Eden Park in Auckland is the largest stadium in New Zealand with a capacity of 50,000. Opened in 1900, it is rarely used for football and it is mostly a rugby union and cricket stadium.
The Wellington Regional Stadium is the second largest in New Zealand with a capacity of 34,500. It is home to the Wellington Phoenix FC, the only New Zealand team to compete in the Australian A-League.
The Forsyth Barr Stadium is located in Dunedin, New Zealand, and has a capacity of approximately 30,000 seats. It opened in 2011 and since then it is the home stadium of Southern United FC of the New Zealand Football Championship. The club is the southernmost football team that competes in a top-tier league globally.
The Waikato Stadium is located in Hamilton, New Zealand, with a total capacity of 25,800. Opened in 2002, it is mostly used for Rugby Union matches.
