UEFA 2023 Under-21 EURO stadiums

The UEFA Under-21 Euro is an international youth football competition for the under-21 national teams of Europe, which happens every two years. Sixteen teams will take part in the final tournament, and only those players who were born after the year 2000 are eligible to be involved. Romania and Georgia have been chosen as the co-hosts for this year’s event, which will also be used as a qualifier for the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Cluj Arena

The Cluj Arena is a multi-purpose stadium in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. It serves as the home of Universitatea Cluj of the Romanian Liga I and was completed in 2011 with a capacity of 30,000.

Constantin Rădulescu Stadium

The Constantin Rădulescu Stadium, also known as CFR Cluj Stadium, is a football-specific stadium in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The stadium was originally built in 1973 with a capacity of about 10,000 seats, hosting the home games of CFR Cluj. After CFR Cluj qualified for the Champions League group stage in 2008, the stadium was expanded to 22,000 seats.

Mikheil Meskhi Stadium

The Mikheil Meskhi Stadium is located in Tbilisi, Georgia. The stadium opened in 1952 and was renovated in 2001. It can hold 27,223 people and it is the second-largest stadium in Georgia.

Batumi Stadium

The Batumi Stadium, officially known as Adjarabet Arena, is located in Batumi, Georgia, and opened in 2020. The capacity of the Stadium is 20,000 and it serves as the home to FC Dinamo Batumi. The stadium will host the final of the tournament.

Ramaz Shengelia Stadium

The Ramaz Shengelia Stadium is located in Kutaisi, Georgia. It is the home stadium of FC Torpedo Kutaisi and can hold 14,700 people.

Boris Paitchadze Dinamo Arena

The Boris Paitchadze Dinamo Arena in Tbilisi is the largest stadium in Georgia. It is the home stadium of Dinamo Tbilisi and the Georgia national football team. It opened in 1976 with a capacity of 74,000 spectators and it was the 3rd largest stadium in the Soviet Union. The record attendance is 110,000 in a game of Dinamo against Liverpool, but in 2005 the stadium became an all-seater which reduced the capacity to 54,549.
