Allsvenskan is a Swedish professional league for men’s association football clubs. It was founded in 1924 and is the top tier of the Swedish football league system. 16 teams will participate this year and in this article, we will have a look at the stadiums that will host this tournament.

The Nationalarenan, currently known as Friends Arena, is a retractable roof stadium in Stockholm. Opened in 2009 it is the biggest stadium in Scandinavia with a capacity of 54,329. The stadium serves as the home to the National Swedish football team and AIK Stockholm. AIK holds the record for the most Allsvenskan appearances with 94. The club has won the title 6 times being the runners-up 15 times.
The Kalmar Arena, currently known as Guldfågeln Arena, is a football stadium in the city of Kalmar. Opened in 2011 with a capacity of 12,150, it now serves as the home to Kalmar FF. The 2008 champions will participate this year in their 36 Allsvenskan tournament.
The Boras Arena is a football stadium in the city of Boras. It was opened in 2005 with 16,200 seats capacity and it is the home ground of Elfsborg. The 6 times Swedish champions will play this year in the 80th season in the Swedish first division.
The Eleda Stadion is a football stadium in Malmö, Sweden. It opened in 2009 with a 22,500 seat capacity. Since then it is the home to the most successful Swedish team, Malmo FF. The club has won 25 championships being the runners-up 15 times. It also has the record for the most Swedish Cup trophies with 15. Malmo is the only club from the Nordic region to have advanced to the final of the European Cup, which was the forerunner to the UEFA Champions League. Malmö is the team that holds the record for both most goals scored and games won in the overall Allsvenskan table, and they are currently atop the league’s overall standings.
The Bravida Arena is a football stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden. Built in 2015 with a capacity of 6,300 it is the home stadium to Hacken. Hacken are the current Swedish champions. This was their first title in 22 appearances in the league.
The Tele2 Arena Is a retractable roof stadium in Stockholm, Sweden. The stadium has a capacity of 30,000 spectators for football matches and opened in 2013. It is the home stadium of Djurgårdens and Hammarby. Founded in 1899, Djurgardens is one of the oldest Swedish teams. They have won the title 8 times in 64 appearances in the league. The team with the highest average attendance in the Nordic countries is Hammarby. In 2022, Hammarby fans set a new Allsvenskan record, having an average attendance of 26,372. The club has won the title in 2001 in a total of 54 appearances.
The Finnvedsvallen is a football ground located in Varnamo, Sweden, and serves as the home stadium for IFK Varnamo. It first opened its doors in 1935 and can accommodate up to 5,000 people. This will be the second Allvenskan appearance for Varnamo.
Örjans Vall is a football stadium in Halmstad, Sweden, built in 1922. The stadium was the site of 2 games during the 1958 FIFA World Cup. It is now used as the home stadium of Halmstad. The club has won the Allsvenskan 4 times in their 55 appearances in the League.
Strandvallen, located in Hallevik, Sweden, is a multi-purpose stadium that was constructed in 1953. It serves as the home stadium of Mjallby and can accommodate up to 7,000 people. Mjallby has spent 11 seasons in the top Swedish League since its debut in 1980.
The Paskbergsvallen is a football and athletics stadium in Varberg, Sweden. Inaugurated in 1925, it has a total capacity of 4,500 spectators. It is the home stadium for the football team Varbergs BoIS. The club made its debut at the top level in the 2020 Allsvenskan. This year they will make their 4th appearance.
The Nya Parken is located in the city of Norrköping. It is the oldest stadium in the League as it was opened in 1903. It was one of the venues that hosted the 1958 World Cup. It now has a capacity of 17,234 and serves as the home stadium of Norrköping. The club is the third most successful Swedish team in the Allsvesnkan with 13 titles and 11 runner-up positions in 82 appearances.
Another historic stadium is the Studenternas IP in Uppsala. Opened in 1909, it now has a capacity of 10,522 spectators and is the home stadium of Sirius. This will be the 10th appearance in the Allsvenskan for Sirius. Their best performance is taking the 7th place in 2017.
The Gamla Ullevi is a football stadium in Gothenburg that opened in 2009 taking the place of the demolished old stadium of the same name. With an 18,416-seat capacity, it serves as the home to IFK Göteborg. Goteborg is the second most successful team in Allsvenskan after Malmo with 13 trophies and 13 finishes in the second position. Plus it is the only club in the Nordic region to have won an UEFA competition, having won the UEFA Cup in both 1982 and 1987. They have been competing in the Allsvenskan continuously since 1977, which is a record for a Swedish first-division team. This will be their 91st season participating in the tournament.
The Grimsta IP is located in Stockholm. It opened in 1963 and can hold 5,000 people. It is currently the home stadium of IF Brommapojkarna. After its first promotion in 2006, the club has spent 6 years in the Allsvenskan.
One of the oldest stadiums in the League is the Stora Valla in the town of Degerfors. The stadium holds 10,500 people and opened in 1938. It is the home of Degerfors. The club has finished in second place twice in 31 appearances in Allsvenskan.
